Dota 2 has been one of the best game in      history.

It is so good and well-known that it became the top performing eSports game in terms of the prize pool.

With this prize money, many teams were lured from all over the world to experience the thrill of eSports and at the same time carry their pride as they fight for the Aegis of Immortal – the trophy that signifies a team’s championship victory in the biggest eSports event in history – Dota 2’s The International tournament.

Team Liquid is also strongly associated with its website, TL.net. Launched on May 1, 2001, it has developed through the years into a focal point for StarCraft and Dota 2 coverage, eventually becoming the most-browsed StarCraft-related website in the world, gathering thousands of members (including several professional players) and centralizing news about the global SC2 scene. On August 30, 2012, Teamliquid.net announced expansion into Dota 2 coverage. The website also features a progaming database, the TLPD, as well as a wiki dedicated to Brood War, StarCraft II, Hearthstone, Dota 2, Super Smash Brothers: Melee, Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch, Liquipedia.

Team liquid is the first ever team which swept a TI championship event at 3-0 run. Yes, they never let Newbee win a single game during that time. During this team’s first few games, they were thinking that Miracle will carry the team alone.

However, they were all wrong so wrong. It turned out that just like OG, this team also have a roster of 5 superstars. They have won majors after majors, and if ever they are going to lose, they will never fall below the top 5 and will usually be at top 2 at least – a team proven to be second to none.

OG is the 2018’s The International Dota 2 Tournament champion, and they have been consistent in winning championships over the years. Their Captain, Notail, is also one of the smartest player in the league and has been loyal to the team for years.

Their triumph to the Aegis of Immortal during that tournament was never easy. As a matter of fact, they had to recruit a totally inexperienced pub player (Topson) to join the team which turned out to be a really good player.

This team is also one of the few which has a roster of evenly skilled players – meaning they are all superstars.

Wings Gaming was a Chinese professional Dota 2 team and champions of The International 2016, best known for their aggressive play style and deep hero pool.

The team was formed in August 2014 after The International 2014 by a group of Chinese pub stars alongside ex-Speed Gaming member y`. After just under two months, former Speed Gaming members bLinkFaith_bian and jdh joined the team, reuniting with their former teammate y`. The new and rejuvenated roster was able to win the Dota 2 Secondary Pro League, securing a slot in the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2015 Wild Card. Despite finding success, Faith_bian and y` departed from the team late in December, being replaced by ZeroPerfect and HaN in the new year. Wings was able to post a 3-2 record in the Wild Card but failed to qualify, as they were tied with HyperGloryTeam, who had defeated Wings earlier in the day. In the following months, ZeroPerfect and HaN departed to join Team DK, with Cqc leaving as well. xddInJuly and super joined the team in April 2015, completing the roster that would end up winning the The International 2015 Open Chinese Qualifiers. Despite finishing fourth in the TI5 Main China Qualifiers, Wings disbanded three days later.

                              DOTA 2

This team had a very straightforward performance in The International of 2016. Even during the start of the tournament, both opposing teams and viewers already realized the potential of Wings Gaming. Their standing was pretty much very consistent, and there were a lot of predictions already that they will win TI on that year. Their performance was so smooth, and most of their wins were very easy to predict.

They won TI of 2016 eventually which weren’t really that shocking – as if people were expecting it. However, this team has been banned since then after having issues with their country itself, China, regarding contracts and taxes issues.
