IN A PACK EVERY TEAM MEETS HAS A                    PART TO PLAY

6 . NATUS VINCERSE (NAVI)

Natus Vincere (Latin: "born to win", often abbreviated as NAVI and previously Na`Vi), is a Ukranian multigaming organization which was founded in 2009 as a Counter-Strike team after the collapse of the team KerchNET. They are best known for their results from The International 2011 to The International 2014, during which they won 20 Tier 1 events and made it to the finals of 3 consecutive Internationals.

Na`Vi's DotA section was created in October 2010 with the pickup of Goblak, XBOCT, Mag~, Deff-, and Axypa. After Mag~ and Deff- left the team, they acquired Danil "Dendi" Ishutin and Ivan "Artstyle" Antonov. The team was later invited to The International 2011, winning it after defeating the Chinese team EHOME 3-1 in the finals.

On June 11th, 2013, Na`Vi picked up an all female team. The organization expanded to North America with their signing of the North American Rejects after qualifying for The International 2014, in June, 2014 On December 5th that year, Natus Vincere announced that they were disbanding Na`Vi.US.

After failing to qualify for the 2015 Frankfurt Major, Natus Vincere announced the departure of their Dota 2 squad on October 16th, 2015, leaving the organization rosterless for the first time since it's inception. Four days later, Natus Vincere announced that Dendi and SoNNeikO would be returning to form a new team.

Dota 2 will never be this way if not because of NaVi, most especially because of Dendi.

Though a lot of players have already surpassed Dendi’s skills, Dendi still made a history that can never be forgotten during his performance in the first ever Dota 2 International tournament.

That event is definitely one of the best, not just in Dota 2, but in the whole history of eSports. But even though Dendi was without a doubt their best player, it is actually the whole team that made them win The International Dota 2 tournament that time. They had a very smart captain, and their teamwork and performance were so consistent and planned.

7. TNC PREDATOR

TI9-TNC-profiler.png

After acquiring DeMoN as captain, TNC placed first in the TI 6 Southeast Asia Qualifiers to become the first Philippine team to qualify for The International since Mineski at TI 1. They encountered visa trouble, but successfully secured US visas after support from, among others, Valve and Philippine Senator Bam Aquino.

At The International 2016, the team started in the lower bracket after a 7/7 result in the group stage. They first faced Vici Gaming Reborn, who were missing their starting offlaner, Yang, due to visa trouble. TNC prevailed, thus securing a best-of-three rematch against Group A winner OG, who had won both of their head-to-head games versus TNC earlier. After winning Game 1 thanks to a fast start, TNC further shocked viewers by defeating the two-time major champions again in game two, despite a 20,000-Gold deficit near the hour mark. TNC's victory was described by some as the biggest upset in the history of The International.

Although TNC lost their next series against the eventual second place team, Digital Chaos, the team had secured over $500,000 USD (Over 20 million Philippine Pesos).

This Filipino team is considered to be the best Dota 2 team in the Philippines. This team also has Filipino members only, and they have a number of very loyal players like their captain Kuku. Their members are very versatile and often times they switch roles if necessary.

TNC is more of like an underdog as well as they are quite underrated – until today. However, if you check how well they perform during tournaments; winning championships, and kicking out well-known strong teams, TNC have proven themselves to be one of the best Dota 2 teams and they have been very active in maintaining that status until today.

8 .DIGITAL CHAOS

Chaos Esports Club, formerly known as Digital Chaos, is an American esports organization with a Dota 2 team based in Europe, founded in August 2015 by DotaCinema co-owner Shannon "SUNSfan" Scotten. On 1 June 2018, they re-branded to Chaos which aimed to make the brand more approachable and mainstream.

Digital Chaos' initial roster consisted of TCYawaRBuLbaAui_2000, and Biryu, and was formed shortly after The International 2015. After the team failed to qualify for The Frankfurt Major, the team's captain, Biryu was replaced by 1437. The team continued to struggle, once again unable to secure a spot at The Shanghai Major, the team was rumored to be on the brink of disbanding. In a shocking turn of events, Resolut1on decided to leave the CIS region and joined the team in February, replacing TC. In the following weeks, Yawar and 1437 would depart the team, the latter to coach Team Secret during the upcoming major. Trying out some role swaps, primarily Aui's switch to carry, and new players, the team showed some promise and, with mason standing in as carry, the team was finally able to win a tournament, the BTS Americas.

The newly formed Digital Chaos did well in American qualifiers, but struggled at international events, finishing second-to-last in every premier event they attended. At The International 2016, however, the team surged, placing second in their group and making into the grand finals through the lower bracket to take a surprising second place. During the post-TI shuffle, Digital Chaos would replace Moo with MoonMeander, who had won two Majors during the previous season with OG. After some average results in LAN events, the team reached the semi finals at the Boston Major and won their first tournament in 2017 at ESL One Genting 2017.

This squad would be short lived and by the end of the month Digital Chaos disbanded. The organization would remain without a Dota 2 team for the remainder of the year.

The organization remained absent from the Dota 2 scene for the remainder of 2018. On January 15, 2019, a new team was announced with the signing of the former paiN Gaming roster. With this, two former Digital Chaos members rejoined the team: w33 and MiSeRy. Both of them had been part of the organization during their legendary The International 2016 run and their victory at ESL One Genting 2017. During the Chongqing Major, TeaGuvnor joined the team as a trial coach. After the major he signed on as a full time coach.

It is impossible to miss the Digital Chaos roster of 2016. Misery, w33, and the rest of the team were almost treated like a joke because their roster was kind of rushed during this time. However, they have proven everyone wrong when they made it to the championship match of the International 2016, beating EG in the Semi Finals which was a total shock to everybody.

Though they lost against Wings Gaming in the championship match, there’s no denying that they have placed themselves in the best team list as they went from being an underdog, to be one of the most cheered team in TI 2016. Not to mention the teamwork they developed despite being together for a very short time.

9. FNACTIC

Fnatic is a professional gaming organization with registered offices in England, Australia and the Netherlands. Fnatic is considered as a European team. Fnatic has won the eSports Award Team of The Year in 2006, and 2009. During 2007-2008 Fnatic welcomed Neil Kirk (co-founder TCM Gaming). After playing several years for Fnatic, Patrik "cArn" Sättermon, one of the best CS:1.6 players became the Chief Gaming Officer of Fnatic in 2012. Since 2013, Anne Mathews took over the position of Sam Mathews as the CEO of Fnatic. Sam Mathews still remains as a Chairman in the organisation.

                            DOTA 2

Another great team that made it up to our top 10 is Fnatic. Fnatic have had ups and downs in Dota 2 tournament history. They missed quite a number of majors, and lost a lot of battles, but what made them as one of the best is the roster that they have now.

They have former TI champions like Universe and Aui_2000, and they have been showing promising performance that will make you think that TI could just be on their fingertips this year.

10. MINESKI

Mineski is a progaming organization, focused on building the Philippine Esports scene by providing coverage and events within the Philippines. They also run an internet café called Mineski Infinity from Manila.

Mineski was originally an all-filipino team which originated in the Philippines. It is without a doubt the most famous Dota 1 Filipino team, and has been one of the best as well in the Philippines in terms of Dota 2.

Despite struggling against their number 1 rival in the Philippines which is the TNC, Mineski have proven themselves worthy as one of the best Dota 2 team in history after winning the Dota 2 Asia Championship in 2018.

To date, Mineski is still one of the best but they have collaborated with China to make Mineski a mixed Filipino and Chinese team with members from both countries.
